Abstract

PT. Cahaya Anugrah Sentosa Makassar in its produktion process uses a molen machine to produce egg and peanut snacks. In the produktion process using a molen machine there are vibrations and sounds which can cause noise and vibrations which are felt by workers as a result which can disrupt work concentration. This research was carried out with the aim of analyzing the noise and vibration levels of molen machine during the production process. This research uses noise measurements using a sound level meter. Meanwhile, vibration measurements use a vibration meter. Based on the results of measurements carried out on the molen machine, the highest noise level was 80,9 dB with a motor rotation speed of 1450 rpm and the lowest was 79,5 dB. Meanwhile the measurement results of the maximum vibration level on the machine floor were 5,3 m/s2 and the minimum vibration level on the lower operator floor was 1,3 m/s2. The results of this research provide an illustration that the noise and vibration levels are lower compared to the provisions of the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower No. Kep. 51/MEN/1999 concerning the Threshold Limit Value (NAB) of noise, namely 85 dB.
